poems 'Zhen-Shan-Ren' by Evan Mantyk

Zhen-Shan-Ren: “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance,” the three main principles of Falun Dafa

Zhen-Shan-Ren, Zhen-Shan-Ren…
Hear the Truth that sounds like “Zhen,”
Rhythm that can vanquish lies,
Self-deceptions vaporize:

Zhen-Shan-Ren, Zhen-Shan-Ren…
Hear Compassion for all men
That can make our hearts ascend,
Make the Good a splendid trend:

Zhen-Shan-Ren, Zhen-Shan-Ren…
Hear Forbearance in the “Ren”
That resounds in discipline,
And resisting fleshly sin:

Zhen-Shan-Ren, Zhen-Shan-Ren…
Hear from every peak and glen,
Every sea and every shore,
Greatest heights to deepest core:

Zhen-Shan-Ren, Zhen-Shan-Ren…
Wisdom from the prophet’s pen
Noble words from gentlemen
Understood by nine in ten:

Zhen-Shan-Ren, Zhen-Shan-Ren…
Hear again! Again! Again!
Heaven’s gate will open up
Drums and Singing then erupt:

Zhen-Shan-Ren, Zhen-Shan-Ren…

Painting description: In many major cities around the world, people who practice Falun Gong participate in parades to celebrate traditional Chinese culture. The artist has drawn celestial beings playing amidst the clouds, echoing the unified beat from below. (en.falunart.org)
