What a great figurative-allegorical picture of our times. And another beautiful video by ABB.
Mark, as I neglected to say when this poem first appeared, it is an apt fable for any community suffering from a domineering leader. That’s what makes it timeless. A great concept on your part, complete with the natural joy of everyone involved when nature brings down pseudo-science.
Well done, Andrew, with relevant drawings from an indeterminate time in the past, yet “not far away,” and still including the even more relevant recent photo, while accompanying the whole with simple music in accord with the lyric genre.
As long as we can determine between genuine science and fraudulent science, like that of flat Earthers and blaming Panadol for autism (processed food and food additives are a more likely culprit, though no one wants to give up their hot dawgs), we should be okay.
