Very sweet – and I like the 4 rhyme per stanza structure which is difficult to do. Well done. Great video too – very appropriate as ABB has – appropriately – reined in his ‘wild’ side to match the tone of the poem! The only problem I have is one I think I have mentioned before on these pages: namely, I am just not a dog person! Tell me about your cat – love cats!!!
This is such a sweet and heartfelt poem, Shari. As a lifelong dog enthusiast I find this poem to be so very moving. You truly captured the relationship.
And Andrew, this is such a beautiful video to accompany the reading. It is one of your more subdued videos, but it is exactly right for the subject. The tone is perfect. This woud be a good video to share with animal rescue sites, many of which struggle to get attention.
