I’m not sure why people haven’t commented on this brief poem. As a triolet it is competently put together, so I assume it’s the subject matter that has scared everyone off. The witch hunt and hysterical attacks being made on Rogan are a perfect example of how asinine “woke” fanatics are destroying freedom of speech (and thought) in the United States.

I’m a fan of the triolet for its repetition, and you have used it to maximum effect. To keep apologizing is to submit to those who are in the process of snatching away the last shreds of freedom remaining… it’s making their job a lot easier for them. I love the line: “Our tweets are silenced but I’ll peck.” Keep pecking through poetry, Mr. Charles, and never apologize for keeping the truth out there. Thank you!
