Join us for a joyful gathering of poetic excellence as the Society of Classical Poets hosts a live Zoom symposium spotlighting the winners of the 2024 SCP International Poetry Competition. Winners of the 2025 Friends of Falun Gong Poetry Competition are also invited to read.

This special event celebrates the finest formal verse submitted this year—sonnets, odes, satires, and more—from a global array of talented poets who embody the living tradition of metered, musical poetry.

    • Open Mic for any poet who received honorable mention or was a finalist
    • Audience Q&A and discussion about classical poetry’s present and future
