Spoiled-Rotten Cat Instructs Visitors

Don’t you dare try to sit in my spot!
I’ll decide if you pet me or not.
_I’m the star here you’ll see.
_They all cater to me.
They just like you; they LOVE me a lot.

.

.

Ninety-Nine Candles

Great Grandpa made this declaration:
“My party should be a sensation.
_Cake, candles, and icing
_must all be enticing.”
We feared a widespread conflagration.

.

.

Gotta Have It

When she’s sure her tired hubby’s asleep,
Susie sneaks from the bedroom to keep
_a much-loved rendezvous.
_Rocky Road she will woo.
Her addiction to ice cream runs deep.

Janice, this is inspired humor that I really enjoyed, especially the last one with such a great surprise ending! Way to go! Our sense of humor is so similar.

    Dear Janice,
Thank you for these fun limericks! As a cat and ice cream lover, these were especially enjoyable.

Who can resist a good limerick? Clean ones that work are particularly difficult to write (or maybe it’s just me), and I particularly enjoyed your cat limerick, Janice.

    Janice,

Well done. I particularly enjoyed “Spoiled-Rotten Cat Instructs Visitors”. I can tell this was written by one who’s had personal encounters with a cat or two!

“Gotta Have It” is classic suggestiveness turning passionately humorous. In my opinion, it’s the best of three specially good limericks, Janice.
