BBC Leadership Change

Most networks now compete to be
the one perched at the apogee
of those to whom reality
is just a triviality.

Each one distorts the news we see
to push progressive policy
by splicing film selectively
and smearing those who disagree.

So many have fought worthily
to be picked as the agency
that edits most deceptively,
but none can beat the BBC.

Warren Bonham is a private equity investor who lives in Southlake, Texas.

Great work Warren! I love the meter and rhyme combination, and the very apt message. Well done!

Excellent, Warren. Thanks to your letting me know about this leadership change, I see the BBC hopes for a “smooth transition” to maintain commitment to its audience. That would seem to say, “More of the same.” And what a great idea to monorhyme your announcement, with more of the same rhyme in every line!
