Robert Frost himself could not have read this poem any better, and that has made all the difference.

That’s a beautiful presentation. I love the poem, the pictures, the reading and the music together and the fact that it’s so short and to the point. Altogether lovely!

Frost is a personal favorite of mine so I found this to be a beautiful and rich experience. A truly enchanting marriage of poem, performance, visual and music!

Really enjoyed recording this, thanks to everyone for their kind comments.

I’ve always found that doing the usual ‘prep work’ for recording pieces (ie. considering the appropriate pace, pitch, tone, timbre, breath pauses, even which accent works best) makes me appreciate the poem that much more.

Reading a piece in your mind is a very different beast to performing it, much as climbing a mountain is a different kettle of fish to painting one.

Looking forward to doing more! – Steve.

PS. Should anyone feel so inclined, more of my past readings (both poetry and prose) can be found on my Youtube channel; just search for RamblingIdioms there.
