Only Trump would have the courage to go after the smug bastards in the BBC. Now that he’s hit them hard, the controversy has exploded open in the U.K., and many Brits have been empowered to attack the organization publicly.

The BBC got a lot of things wrong, but no one had the ability to make their legitimate grievances stick until the deceitful editing of the J6 speech. It’s great to see some accountability. I still have doubts about whether anything will really change behind the scenes, but at least, as you point out, many more people have been inspired to speak out.

Warren, many of the British people have despaired over the distortions the BBC have indulged in for years. It has been revealed over and over that they’re downright deceptive to the point that many refuse to pay their licence fee. I do, however, think some of the nefarious channels over here are on a par with the British Bulls#%t Corporation. Thank you, as ever, for telling it like it is in thought-provoking poetry. You are a poet after my own heart.
Thanks for this neat little poem. Susan is right: the BBC has long ceased to be a trustworthy news source. I’m one of the people who no longer pays a licence fee (it’s legal, as long as you observe certain restrictions.) Your poem said what a lot of Brits are thinking.
