Germanic deities, associated with the seven days of the week (public domain)_2

Have a Nice Week!

I wish you a wonderful week!
May Monday go smoothly and sleek,

And Tuesday productive at work;
Perhaps you’ll enjoy a new perk.

I bet Wednesday runs really fast.
Behold, half a week has just passed.

On Thursday be happy and bright
The week is approaching twilight.

On Friday, get ready to rest:
Nice dinner, a movie, or quest.

Spend Saturday just as you wish:
Sleep in and then cook a new dish.

On Sunday, give glory to God
For blessings and all that you’ve got.

Enjoy every single new day,
It’s unique in a beautiful way.
Remember to look back and cherish
The week that lives on and won’t perish!

Polina, these are precious wishes for every day of the week nicely done in couplets that encourage us. I enjoyed them.

Thanks for the wishes, Polina! You’ve done well to conclude this set piece of seven couplets with a quatrain of farewell reminders: every day is unique, and every week persists in memory and history.

A reminder to use every day productively, though my half day Friday ends up with cleaning the apartment and doing my washing.

    Thanks for the read, Polina.

    Hello Polina.

This is a spell-binding depiction of how each day should be spent. And here I’m sitting in my office on a Friday afternoon, looking forward to rest, a Saturday with delicious meals and of course the Sunday spirituality.

Wonderfully done – simple yet pleasing.
